What happens, and when
The four stages every complaint goes through.
- Day 0 — We acknowledge it. Every complaint is acknowledged within one working day, naming the person handling it. Complaints raised through the form above are acknowledged immediately, with a case reference and your statutory deadline.
- Day 1–7 — We investigate. The handler reviews our processing records, vendor logs and internal correspondence. We may come back to you for more detail.
- Day 7–30 — We respond in writing. You get our findings and what we are doing about it. If we cannot respond within 30 days we will tell you why and give you a revised date, rather than let the deadline pass quietly.
- Day 30+ — You can escalate. If you are not satisfied, you can take it to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. You do not need our permission, and you can go to them at any point.
Confidentiality. Your complaint is shared only with the people who need it to investigate, and with a vendor only where that is strictly necessary to look into it.
No retaliation. Nobody who raises a complaint in good faith will be treated worse for having done so.
You can also complain by email to hello@readypack.co.uk rather than using the form. We do not require any particular route.
